Some things I am learning:
Knowing what’s coming isn’t a shield, it’s a compass.
We’re always practicing, the big game never comes. Sometimes we think it’s here, the day of the game we’ve been practicing for, then discover what we thought was the game was just the next level of practice.
A big part of life is effectively utilizing the tools you’ve gathered amidst challenges. When challenged, if you can utilize the tools you have and acquire a new tool for next time, even better. Learning how to handle hard things better than we did the last time is a foundational aspect of what we’re doing here.
There are loving activities to engage in when I spend time with myself that do not involve making myself disappear. I had forgotten some of them, and I am now remembering.
